Money management is one of the most important -- and valuable -- lessons kids can learn.

But the lessons certainly don't have to be boring. With the Metro Kids Club, Columbus Metro's savings program for kids 12 and under, learning how to save is fun and rewarding.

Metro Kids Club members receive the following benefits:

• A Savings Fun Pak, which includes everything the new club member will need to start saving, including a membership card, a special savings passbook to record transactions, and a Metro Kids quarter saver.
• A special kids-only web site featuring our mascot, Kirby Kangaroo.
• A subscription to our special members-only newsletter, filled with lessons on saving, games, jokes, projects and more.
• A personalized birthday greeting and gift from Columbus Metro each year.
• The opportunity to select a small prize each time a deposit is made.

The basic Metro Kids Club account is our primary share account, and children under 18 earn quarterly dividends regardless of the share balance. To designate a child's new or existing account as a Metro Kids account, a deposit of $25 or more is required. We will waive the deposit requirement if you already have or set up payroll deduction into the Metro Kids account.
