Use your MasterMoney Check Card at ATMs and for purchases.

A MasterMoney® Check Card is the perfect compliment to a Columbus Metro checking account. In addition to giving you ATM access, your MasterMoney card can be used instead of cash and checks at millions of merchants who accept MasterCard debit. Use your MasterMoney Check Card at:

• Gas stations and convenience stores
• Grocery, department and discount stores
• Dry cleaners, doctor's offices and the post office
• Restaurants, movie theaters, concerts and sporting events
• Catalog shopping
• Much, much more!

Using your MasterMoney Check Card is more convenient than writing a check and safer than carrying cash. Purchases are automatically deducted from your Columbus Metro checking account, and your monthly statement will detail all your check card transactions, including the date, the merchant name and the amount. There is no monthly or annual fee for our MasterMoney Check Card and no transaction fees when you sign for your purchase rather than using your PIN. You can also avoid ATM fees by using a machine that is part of the Alliance One ATM network.

If you already have a checking account, you can apply for a MasterMoney Check Card by filling out the brief application, signing it, and returning it to the credit union. You can fax it, mail it or drop it off at any of our offices.

Safeguard your check card when shopping online

Members who shop online with their MasterMoney Check Cards enjoy added protection, thanks to a program from MasterCard called SecureCode.

SecureCode is a private code--similar to a PIN--that you create for use while shopping online. Once you've done so, the service works automatically when you shop at participating online merchants. Simply enter your MasterMoney Check Card payment information, and you'll be prompted to enter your SecureCode. If the proper code is entered, your transaction will be completed as usual.
